Being a part of our community means showing up, not just when it's easy, but when it counts. Toowoomba's just a big country town, and we reckon that's worth backing. We can't get behind everything, but we can get behind something. Here's who we back, and why.

This isn't the full list, just enough so you know who to touch base with.

The Glennie Fair

We're supporting upcoming school events, as a part of the community and in support of this wonderful school body, who is raising the next generation.

It's Cool to Talk Grief

Grief affects us all. Spearheaded by our agent Sarah Springate, this yearly gathering brings like-minded people together to put words to a battle we all face at some point.

Clean Up Australia Day

We're proud of our local community, and when you're proud, you tidy up. Clean Up is a national initiative and we're out there taking to the streets and cleaning up. Own your home, clean up too.

Base Services

Base Services works with individuals and families in the Toowoomba community who are homeless or at high risk of homelessness, ex-service people, and those dealing with health issues or trauma from abuse, family violence, separation, grief, or loss.

Breast Cancer Foundation

We support the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF), Australia's leading not-for-profit funding world-class breast cancer research towards a vision of zero deaths from breast cancer.

Momentum Mental Health

Momentum Mental Health is dedicated to transforming the mental health and wellbeing of the community, making support accessible to everyone, every day, with a focus on prevention and innovative, contemporary programs.

The Christmas Wonderland

An iconic Toowoomba display of Christmas lights at Queens Park, accessible by gold coin donation, with major beneficiaries including Toowoomba Hospital Foundation, Toowoomba Hospice, and Lifeline Darling Downs and South West Queensland.

The Toowoomba Hospice

Toowoomba Hospice's mission is to provide safe, high-quality healthcare for adults with terminal illness. We were proud to support their efforts to raise awareness for National Palliative Care Week and the lighting of the Victoria Bridge.

How we pick who to back

It's pretty simple. We look for the places where our support actually helps. That usually comes down to a few things:

• RealWay is the only real estate sponsor. We get it, you want as much support as you can from as many corners as possible, and that's fair enough. We just ask to be the only real estate business in the mix.
• We believe in what you offer. Not the sponsorship package, the actual thing you're doing for Toowoomba. If it doesn't sit right with us, no dollar figure changes that.
• You've got a track record. A valid organisation with a reputation for running things well.

Beyond that, we're not precious about it. Sometimes it's a big cheque, sometimes it's increasing awareness, sometimes it's just us turning up and lending a hand. Whatever moves the needle for you is what we'll try to do.
